| Our Homelessness Education Program is a community outreach program designed to educate the community about homelessness and the societal issues facing homeless families. This program emphasizes critical thinking skills, responsibility, prevention and education.
In 2009, we conducted 14 presentations and training sessions for volunteers and the community, including high schools, civic groups, youth groups and congregations.

Community Involvement: Interfaith believes in community activities that affect change. Project Homeless Connect is a 1-day initiative to address the needs of the homeless in Morris County. Interfaith took the lead and coordinated this successful community event, the first ever in New Jersey, in 2006, 2007and 2008 and partnered with other local agencies in 2009. Project Homeless Connect has served over 700 participants who were homeless or at risk of homelessness since 2006.
